Micro and small businesses within the limit of R$ 4,8 milhões in annual revenue can opt in. The Microempresa (ME, or microenterprise) goes up to R$ 360 mil per year. The Empresa de Pequeno Porte (EPP, or small business) goes from R$ 360 mil up to R$ 4,8 milhões. Some activities are not eligible, and there are rules about partners.
