How long does the digital certificate last?

It depends on the type. The A1 certificate is usually valid for 1 year. The A3 can be valid for 1 to 3 years, depending on the choice made at the time of purchase. When it expires, you need to renew it so you don't lose the ability to issue invoices or meet deadlines. The ideal is to renew before expiration.
